Tata Motors, Fiat to announce JV plans

Tata Motors and Fiat Auto are set to announce details of the India joint venture later in the day today. Bonds seen down as US Treasuries fall

The federal bonds are expected to drop on Thursday from the previous session's one-month closing low, after US government bond prices were pounded on strong data. US Five, 10 and 30-year yields rose their most in a month after retail sales data far exceeded expectations, trimming back expectations of a Federal Reserve rate cut.
