In what could be termed a strange coincidence, the body parts of a child have been found in an MCD school in another village called Nithari in Delhi's Sultanpuri area. The discovery has sent the residents of Sultanpuri in panic, but the police are not suspecting any foul play.

The Election Commission today issued a showcause notice to news channel NDTV for alleged violation of the electoral law by telecasting "Insta Poll" on elections in Punjab where polling is in progress. The television channel has been asked to reply by 1630 hours today. Under "Insta Poll" the channel is giving exit-poll like projections as to who is in the lead between the two main contenders - Congress and Akali Dal (Badal).

Peace prevailed in the city today as curfew was lifted in four areas and relaxed for two hours in seven other violence hit localities to allow women to make necessary purchases in seven other violence hit localities, police said. As many as 163 persons were rounded up for their alleged involvement in rioting that injured seven persons yesterday, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Indore) Madhu Kumar Babu told.
