Mufti urges restoration of telephone links

India today sent the third consignment of relief supplies for October 8 earthquake victims in Pakistan by train.The relief material cosist of 26 tonnes of blankets, 250 tents, 9.5 tonnes of plastic sheet, ten tonnes of medicines and 100 tonnes of energy biscuits.

Babbar Khalsa man arrested in Haryana

In a major breakthrough, Haryana Police on Monday arrested a man "closely linked" with the Babbar Khalsa International. Police said they arrested the man, Gurdeep Singh, a resident of Alampur in Fatehgarh Sahab district of Punjab from Surja village in Kurukshetra on Monday morning. A Chinese pistol and 14 live cartridges were seized from him.

The Siddhis, who trace their origins to Africa, were brought to Gujarat almost 200 years ago as slaves.
