Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers head the chart when it comes to corruption cases booked by the CBI. In 2004-05, at least 79 IRS officers were booked by the agency. The Customs and Central Excise Service (C&CES) came a distant second with 19 cases of corruption against its officers.
