There seems to be more politics than science in the Health Ministry's investigation of the presence of pesticides in soft drinks. Last year-end a Health Ministry committee rubbished the CSE report on pesticides in colas. Now, another committee not only confirms pesticides in colas but recommends the strictest-ever norms for beverages.
