Cutting across party lines, members of Parliament from Karnataka staged a dharna outside Parliament House building on Wednesday morning to protest against the final award of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal. Polling began on a peaceful note on Thursday for by-elections in Gwalior and Sidhi Lok Sabha and Udaipura assembly constituencies.
