Two days after senior Trinamul Congress MLA Sadhan Pandey spoke out in favour of Tata Motor's small car factory in Singur, he was suspended from the party for an indefinite period. Soon after his suspension, Pandey stepped on the gas, and took on Trinamul chairperson Mamata Banerjee, holding her responsible for the "absence of democracy" in the party.
