Indian women win maiden Asian boxing title

Indian women created history by winning their maiden title at the third Asian Boxing Championships at Taiwan on Thursday.Indian team bagged seven gold, two silver and two bronze medals to finish ahead of North Korea, who were the champions in the last two editions. BCCI to name Indian captain

The BCCI's five-man selection panel will meet later today in Mumbai to name the captain for India's tour of Zimbabwe which will begin later this month.However, the meeting could just be a formality since Sourav Ganguly is expected to earn back the captaincy.
