The Supreme Court Tuesday appointed former chief election commissioner T.S. Krishnamurthy as observer for conducting the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) elections in Kolkata before Nov 30. A three-judge bench comprising Justices B.P. Singh, S.B. Sinha and P.K. Balasubramanyan made the appointment after the consent of all the contending parties.
