Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav has won a trust vote in the state assembly. The vote came after the Allahabad High Court ruled that a petition by Bahujan Samajwadi Party against defection of 40 legislators to Samajwadi Party was valid.
