India's Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Saturday its board had approved an investment of 80 billion rupees ($1.8 billion) to boost the capacity of Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals (MRPL.BO: Quote, Profile, Research), to 15 million tonnes a year.
