Justice VM Kanade granted bail on a surety of Rs 25,000 to Nayak as the anti-corruption bureau failed to file chargesheet in the disproportionate assets case against him within the stipulated 60 days of arrest.

At least 51 passengers were killed and 10 injured on Thursday morning when a bus skidded off a highway and fell into a pond in Assam, police said.
