Vehicles are stranded on a snow-covered road in Shimla where heavy snowfall since Saturday night brought the minimum temperature below freezing point on Sunday. Over about 2 feet snow was recorded till afternoon and the minimum temperature was minus 0.6 degree celsius whereas the maximum was 3 degree celsius.
