Controversial RJD Lok Sabha member Mohammed Shahabuddin was today convicted by a local court for assaulting a CPI-ML worker eight years ago. Judicial Magistrate Vishwa Vibhuti Gupta found the jailed MP guilty of the charges after the completion of the trial inside Siwan jail. The quantum of the sentence would be announced tomorrow.
